Beach Club

Lighting was integral to creating a warm luminous environment for this multi-use club overlooking the Atlantic Ocean on the New Jersey Shore. The main floor, Restaurant Avenue boasts a broad interior with 18 foot ceilings. But through use of gentle lighting treatments at the ceiling and column coves, and the addition of internally glowing resin panels which embrace several seating areas, each area of the restaurant allows patrons to experience a wonderful intimacy around their dining group while still being connected to the goings on of the restaurant at large. Beach Club (2nd fl.) level: Corridors with luminous wall niches. The top floor, Le Club, invites guests to enter from a central staircase which is lit from above with LED lighting that is filtered through horizontal resin panels. The light is captured by vertical sheers falling along the perimeter of the stairwell, and can be seen through a series of metal cut-out screens from the main club area. The back bar is a subtle kinetic experience where featured top-shelf bottle selections are seen through silhouette of soft additive color mixing behind. The seating areas are lit with pinspot accents, and table candles to create a nestled enclave where from the goings on of the club and the pool deck can be seen.
