At Bourbon Steak in Phoenix, AZ, a sleek and sturdy environment was created for this one-of-a-kind desert steakhouse. A boardwalk, lined with up-lit and down-lit wine racks behind glass walls, greets the patrons upon their initial entry into the space. In the main dining rooms, three different versions of a custom solid glass fixture hang over the wooden dining tables. The lit glass fixtures are reminiscent of milks jugs or mason jars in their timeless style and solidity.
A finished dome acts as a skylight above one dining room, tricking the eye with cool bluish tones of white neon light. An adjacent dining area has an inset wooden ceiling where a cove of warm neon lights accent and highlight the warmth of the polished wood. An ornamental cinderblock wall is yet another interesting feature where tea light candles are used to create depth and motion within the space.
