The Greenwich Hotel

Grayling Design, known for their superb craftsmanship and studied attention to authentic detail partnered with Focus Lighting on Robert DeNiro and Ira Drukier’s Greenwich Hotel in Tribeca. The hotel’s abundant use of natural materials combined with artisan workmanship hearkens back to a romantic age of understated elegance, Old World textures, and quiet luxury. To compliment the subtle grace of the Hotel’s accommodations, Focus Lighting concentrated on achieving the delicate balance between architecturally functional light and gentle, decorative lighting components. The seeded art-glass ceiling, made luminous with warm white and amber lighting, glows with a bright, welcoming light during the day, and softens to an inviting, candlelit ambience during the evening dinner and cocktail hours. The Conservatory’s architectural features are softly lit from behind, adding a visual depth to accompany the room’s rich, textural materials.

The Greenwich Hotel stands alone in elevating the hotel experience for its guests into one that transcends the usual standards of thoughtful detail and grace.
