Whimsy and glamour combine at the Morgans Hotel Group’s newest hotel, The Mondrian in Miami South Beach featuring interior design by Marcel Wanders. Focus Lighting balances Wanders’s hallmark patterns of dizzying delicacy, his unique interpretations of material and scale with lighting that adds subtle depth, creates visual dynamism, and supports the numerous instances of decorative playfulness that Wanders imbues his spaces with.

Upon entering the lobby, large plaster rosettes float on halos of light against the wall behind the reception desk, enormous bells with chandeliers in the stead of bell clappers loom above the porte cochere walkway, the etched glass panels in the Sunset Bar are softly lit with LEDs, creating a warm backdrop against which guests can enjoy the panoramic view of Biscayne Bay and the city of Miami.
