For Morimoto, one of Stephen Starr’s most popular restaurants, Focus Lighting designed sleek, angular, color-shifting booths to contrast strongly with an undulating ceiling and organically shaped plaster walls. The booths are internally lit with programmable LED fixtures and shift through a custom color palette in 1-hour cycles.

In order to keep the food and patrons looking great, Focus Lighting used overhead accents and table lamps to cut through the colored light and create a beautiful warm glow at each table. these treatments combine with concealed wall lighting and other details to create one of Focus Lightings most memorable restaurant designs.
