Prudential Center - Newark Arena

At the center of Downtown Newark’s urban redevelopment stands the Prudential Center, the recently completed new home of the New Jersey Devils. In addition to being quickly considered one of the best arenas in hockey, the Prudential Center is also redefining the usual functions of arena lounges, restaurant spaces and entries. Entering the arena through towering 130’ glass drums, fans are bathed in red light and patterns that can only mean that this is the home of the Devils.

The Premium Restaurant and Lounge Spaces occupy 50,000 square feet and are themed to cater to high end ticket holders, providing an experience more akin to an exclusive lounge or restaurant rather than a sporting event. Architecturally integrated lighting in bar-tops, walls, seating and coves, as well as custom ceiling fixtures in each themed space all work together to accent and showcase the interior design as well as to further reinforce the team’s identity in their home arena. The result is a space where design has penetrated the usual bare functionality of an arena, providing a new, stylish home where fans can support their team enthusiastically in distinctive comfort.
