Science on a Sphere
Focus Lighting was commissioned by New Jersey’s Liberty Science Center to create a backdrop for their brand new Science on a Sphere exhibit. Developed by the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), Science on a Sphere is a six-foot carbon-fiber globe that uses high-definition projectors to display planetary data. The exhibit enables visitors to experience atmospheric events on Earth, as well as on other planets in our solar system, many of them in real time. Focus Lighting’s design uses two layers of LED light to create a compelling and visually cohesive backdrop for the star of the show, pulling the entire room into this one of a kind experience.
